Meet Charlie!

Charlie is a happy-go-lucky 9 month old black tri Australian Shepherd male.  He loves everyone he meets, whether they be human or canine.  He is a high energy boy that would love to have an active family that has time to keep him exercised!
Charlie rides very well in a vehicle and he’s a very quick learner. He’s housebroken, cratetrained and he walks well on a leash.

Charlie is still a puppy personality, so he needs training with some of the basics like obedience and jumping up on people. But he has learned to sit and shake already!  Charlie must be crated while unsupervised because he’s not quite past the chewing stage yet. A close watch will need to be kept on him because he has been known to steal the occasional shoe or tv remote and chew on electrical cords!

Charlie is really fast and he loves to play and run!  He would probably be an excellent candidate for dog sports like agility or rally-o. He is usually a very velcro dog, though he will go off on his own until you call and he has super recall.

Charlie is being fostered in Rantoul Illinois.  He is neutered, up to date with his vaccinations, microchipped and tested for heartworm. If you are interested in adopting Charlie, please fill out the ADOPTION APPLICATION and reference ASRM 0130 Charlie!
